The new City of Health will house the new facilities of the public University Hospital La Paz, the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid, as well as other research spaces. It is a 1-billion-euro investment that will make it possible to create the most modern and innovative biosanitary campus in Europe, located in the heart of the Community of Madrid. The construction of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University will be based on a maximum building area of 42,500 m². It will be equipped with top-tier facilities designed to meet the demands required for training health professionals and conducting biomedical research, where two degree programs are taught. These are Medicine and Nursing, in addition to other disciplines offered in collaboration with other faculties, such as the degree in Biomedical Engineering, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and the double degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Technology.
