After graduating in Biology with a specialization in Health Sciences, finishing a Master’s degree in Microbiology, and carrying out all my academic internships in various institutions, always focused on bacteriological or viral studies, I decided to turn my research career around. I have now traded bacteria and viruses for macrophages and hepatic stellate cells in order to investigate alternative treatments for liver diseases while pursuing a PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology at UAM
